Live video from storm chasers in the US, Canada, and Europe.
TVNweather Live Storm Chasing allows interactive access to live video streams from storm chasers in the field. The chaser's GPS location is updated regularly so you'll be able to follow along on the chase from the safety of your Android device. Since storm chases are based on severe weather events you can receive push notifications to be alerted when chasers are streaming and never miss a chase.
Please note that each chaser's video stream depends on network conditions in the field which vary dramatically during a chase. Streams will disconnect when the chaser loses wireless data coverage.
The app is still considered a beta release but we wanted to get out something your hands early so you could enjoy it this storm season. Follow @TVNweather on Twitter for updates.
Fixed:
*Issue with map state (markers) being lost in certain circumstances, requiring a restart of the app.
*Lag in info window showing up after pressing a map marker (you could always press on the info window to go to that stream immediately).
